Noong May 3 nakatanggap ako ng email mula sa sa isang tao about sa reklamo sa vlogger mula sa isang ofw tungkol sa reklamo ng employer nya na si waseem.
Nung araw rin na yun ay tinanong ko pa kung totoo ang paratang at inisa isa nya ang lahat sa email ng mga alegasyon.
May 4 nag reak ako sa email na yun gamit ang youtube at direkta kong sinabi na hindi ko inaakusahan ang vlogger kung totoo man ang alegasyon.
May 4 rin nag komento ang vlogger na fake news ito at sinagot ko pa siyang sagutin mo ang alegasyon laban sa kanya kaya nagpost siya sa kanyang FB account na fake ang alegasyon sa kanya noong May 11.
May 13 sinundan niya ng isa pang post at dito nilahad nya ang kanyang usapan pati na rin ang kanyang kaaway ang mga salitaan nila na may pagbabanta sa kanyang buhay.

May 30 nakatanggap ako ng email mula sa kapatid ng vlogger na pangalan ay Agnes Carom na humihingi ng tulong dahil na ospital ang vlogger due to suicide.
Tinanong ko kung bakit pero tanging sagot ay nadepress pero walang sinabing dahilan ng depresyon. Hiningi ko detalye at pangalan ng ospital para ipagbigay alam sa MWO.
June 6 lumabas sa balita na patay na ang vlogger at isa isa narin nagsipag post ang mga tao na ako ang inaakusahan dahilan ng pagpapakamatay.

Returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families will soon be able to avail treatment for cancer related diagnosis with the soon to be establish Bagong Pilipinas Cancer Care Center as part of the Overseas Filipino Workers Hospital in San Fernando City, Pampanga.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. with Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac led the groundbreaking of the new site for the DMW and OFW Hospital-Bagong Pilipinas Cancer Care Center on December 10, 2024.
“Former Sec. Susan Ople’s legacy reminds us to approach every patient with compassion and care, assuring them that they are not alone in their fight. The realization of this project will require the collective efforts of the DMW, DPWH, DOH, many other government agencies and equally important are the private partners. I look forward to the completion of this facility and the procurement of necessary medical equipment. I noticed coming in marami sa inyong – ‘yung mga OFW lalo ay nagpapasalamat. Hindi po kayong magpasalamat sa amin. Kami ang nagpapasalamat sa inyo,” the President said.
The President further stressed the importance of the cancer facility “nawa’y ang cancer care (center) na ito ay maging simbolo ng ating mas magandang kinabukasan—kung saan ang sakripisyo ng ating mga OFWs ay masuklian, ang kanilang mga pangarap ay mabigyang katuparan, at ang kanilang kalusugan ay pinapahalagahan.”
A cancer facility and better equipped Out Patient Department will soon rise at the Hospital, a fulfilment of the wishes of the late DMW Secretary Susan V. Ople.
“Libre po ang lahat, OFW ka man ngayon, papunta pa lamang sa abroad o nagretiro na sa serbisyo, kayo at ang inyong mga mahal sa buhay ay tatanggapin dito sa OFW Hospital at pagsusumikapan natin matugunan lahat ng inyong pangangailangang medikal sa ilalim ng ating Bagong Pilipinas,” Sec. Cacdac said.
Key implementing agencies and partners are the Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Health, OFW Hospital, Department of Public Works and Highway, Department of Social Welfare and Development, the DOH-Center for Health and Development, Local Government of Pampanga, and Philhealth. The project cost for the new cancer facility amounts to P80,000,000 and is expected to be completed in November 2025. The cancer facility is expected to be operational in the year 2026.
The current Out Patient Department caters to more than 160 patients daily which results in overcrowding and the hospital is forced to repurpose other essential areas into triage zones. The OPD will be transferred to the new site upon its completion to better serve the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families who go to the hospital to avail of free consultations and take advantage of laboratory examinations available to them and their dependents.
“Malayo na, pero malayo pa ang puwedeng marating,” we have come so far yet there is still much work to be done. We continue to plan and implement the improvements we have set for the OFW Hospital, not only to provide chemotherapy treatments in our “Bagong Pilipinas Cancer Care Center,” but we will work towards providing higher image diagnostic and radiotherapy in the future to truly embody the one stop healthcare facility we envisioned,” revealed Sec. Cacdac.
The new facility will free up the current outpatient department in the OFW Hospital which will be repurposed as a pre-departure and post-arrival medical examinations area for the OFWs.
The new facility will be offering chemotherapy services and, in the future, the DMW will partner with other institutions to offer radiotherapy in the new cancer facility. This comes at the intention of Secretary Cacdac that the OFW Hospital will be able to provide substantial services.

A new guide outlining the services offered to expatriates has been released by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia.
The Qiwa platform, which is devoted to providing electronic services to both employers and employees, now permits employed individuals to receive a salary certificate that includes details about their present position, according to the guide.
– A certificate of experience can be requested by an employee through their Qiwa Individuals account if they need information about their past job experiences.
– This service is being supplied free of charge and without any conditions, according to the ministry.
In order to get the Employment, Experience and Salary certificate, you have to follow these steps.
1. Login to your Qiwa accont.
2. Go to the services section of your Qiwa Individuals account.
3. Then, choose employment certificates.
4. Now, request a new certificate.
5. Then, choose the type of certificate you need.
6. Afterwards, choose the job you need the salary certificate for.
7. Consequently, specify who is asking for the certificate.
8. Finally, review and submit your request to make sure your employer has verified your employment.
– Moreover, the ministry has announced the availability of experience service certificates, which are proof of an employee’s previous employment.
By submitting this document, workers can verify their work history, boost their professional profile, and get ahead in the hiring process. Only current employees who are on record with the company can use this service.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) shut down the operations of a travel agency in Malolos City, Bulacan, for illegally recruiting Filipino workers for bogus jobs in Europe in exchange for large amounts of fees.
Undersecretary Bernard P. Olalia, head of the DMW’s Licensing and Adjudication Services cluster, led the closure operations along with the Migrant Workers Protection Bureau (MWPB) in coordination with the Malolos City police. High Dreamer Travel and Tours Services office at No. 0106 Paseo del Congreso, Catmon, Malolos, Bulacan, was padlocked just before noon today, June 14, 2024.
“Once again, the Filipino Community in Poland proved to be a valuable ally in stopping these illegal activities. We thank them for their vigilance in reporting the illegal activities of High Dreamer to our Migrant Workers Office in Prague (MWO-Prague).” DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac said.
MWO-Prague, which exercises jurisdiction over Poland, conducted an investigation and discovered that High Dreamer was offering overseas jobs to unsuspecting Filipinos through Facebook. High Dreamer has no valid license to offer jobs overseas and is not a registered recruitment agency with the DMW.
Initial investigation revealed that the agency offers jobs such as production workers, agricultural workers, cleaners, restaurant workers, construction workers, and cleaners in various European countries, particularly Croatia, with monthly salaries between P70,000 and P80,000.
It was learned that High Dreamer collected a processing fee of P100,000 and a placement fee of P300,000 from each applicant. The payment is non-refundable and can be settled in three installments.
Officers and personnel of High Dreamer will face serious charges of illegal recruitment, be included in the DMW’s “List of Persons and Establishments with Derogatory Record,” and be banned from participating in the government’s overseas recruitment program.
The closure of the travel agency is the 10th closure operation since January 2024 conducted by the DMW to crack down on illegal recruiters preying on OFWs and applicants who wish to work abroad.
The DMW is urging other applicants who fell victim to High Dreamer’s illegal activities to contact the MWPB for the filing of cases against the travel agency. MWPB may be contacted through their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/dmwairtip and through their email at mwpb@dmw.gov.ph.
This is the 10th closure operation conducted by the DMW-MWPB this year against unlicensed and unregistered agencies and companies offering overseas jobs to prospective job seekers.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured Filipino seafarers on board the MV Tutor recently attacked by Houthi rebels that the government is exhausting all remedies to bring them to safety as soon as possible.
“Sa ating mga kasama na Filipino seafarers na nakasakay nung MV Tutor na binomba at ngayon ay hindi malaman ang gagawin ay mayroon – lahat ng maaring gawin ay ginagawa na namin,” President Marcos said in a video message on Friday.
President Marcos added the government is now working closely with the UK Maritime Trade Operations and is already looking for ways to safely transfer the Filipino seafarers to Djibouti where help is underway.
President Marcos stressed the government will find ways to bring them back home.
“Kaya’t patuloy ang aming pag-hanap ng tulong sa ating mga kaibigan para madala na kayo sa Djibouti,” he said.
Some Filipinos were on board the Greek-owned and Liberia-flagged freighter, MV Tutor when Houthi rebels attacked their vessel while traversing the Red Sea on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) condemned the attack and said the Philippine government will take all necessary measures to secure the safety and well-being of the Filipino crew on board.

Sa public briefing, sinabi ni Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) administrator Arnel Ignacio na mabilis ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa pagtugon ng pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino na apektado sa tragedya.
”Ang maaasahan nila, wala naman po tayong natitipid pagdating sa pagtulong sa ating mga kababayan na ganito ang mga nagiging sitwasyon. We are very very quick on the needs of our OFWs,” giit ni Ignacio.
”Ang repatriation nito ng remains ay in the process na po,” dagdag niya.
Nauna nang inihayag ni Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac na nasawi ang tatlong OFWs dahil sa smoke inhalation.
Ang mga biktima ay kabilang sa grupo ng 11 OFW na pawang nagtatrabaho sa parehong Kuwaiti construction company na nakatira sa gusaling nasunog.
Sinabi ng departamento na dalawa pang OFW ang nananatiling nasa kritikal na kondisyon sa isang ospital, habang ang natitirang anim ay “ligtas at hindi nasaktan.”
Nagpapatuloy pa ang imbestigasyon sa sanhi ng sunog ngunit sinabi ni Kuwait’s deputy prime minister, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, ang real estate owners ay may nilabag.
