“So, the monthly PhilHealth contribution by each individual shall be ₱400 for those earning ₱10,000 while the annual premium shall be ₱4,800. For those who are earning the ceiling is ₱80,000, the monthly PhilHealth contribution shall be ₱3,200, while the annual PhilHealth contribution shall be ₱38,400,” ani Recoter.
“‘Yung projection natin, kung wala namang pagkalat o pagtaas ng kaso, we’re still seeing cases will remain low in NCR basta nag-iingat tayo. Ngayon, we’re averaging less than or around 100 cases per day sa NCR,” paliwanag ni David.
“For the month [of March], P586.29 billion, or 4.8% of the total debt portfolio was added primarily due to the net issuance of government securities to both local and external lenders,” paliwanag ng Kawanihan ng Ingatang-Yaman, Huwebes.
“Total [National Government’s] guaranteed obligations decreased by P5.16 billion or 1.2% month-over-month to P411.04 billion as of end-March 2022,” patuloy pa ng BTr.
“The lower level of guaranteed debt was due to the net repayment of both domestic and exernal guarantees amounting to P0.76 billion and P1.55 billion, respectively.”
PRANK GONE FAR. One of the pranks in a video content posted on Sunday (May 1, 2022) by “Tukomi” on their Youtube channel shows a man wearing traditional Muslim attire and about to throw a black backpack inside a barbershop. (Screengrab from Tukomi Youtube Channel)
MANILA – The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) is now determining legal steps against a well-known social media content creator “Tukomi” who posted on Youtube an ‘insensitive’ video titled “Manghagis ng Itim na Bag ng Naka pang Arabo“.
A day after Muslim Filipinos celebrated Eid’l Fit’r or the end of Ramadan, the NCMF Bureau of External Relations, on its Facebook page post on Tuesday night, said its lawyers are already determining the appropriate cases against the suspects.
“We have forwarded the information to the NCMF Bureau of Legal Affairs for the next steps in addressing the issue, particularly in determining the cases that may be filed against these individuals,” the statement read.
The NCMF appealed to the public to refrain from spreading the video and avoid further engagements with the content creators.
Along with other pranks posted on Sunday, the last part of the video shows a man wearing Muslim traditional attire carrying a black backpack and standing outside a barbershop in an unknown location. He suddenly throws the bag inside and runs away along with frightened people.
NCMF Commissioner Yusoph Mando commented on the post, thanking a fellow Muslim who notified him about the incident.
“Titiyakin namin na maaaksyunan ng ating tanggapan itong ganitong klaseng content ngsocmed (We will make sure the our office will take an action against this kind of socmed content),” Mando said.
Other netizens’ comments condemn the video content.
“This is not funny. Just please respect our religion,” Safeeya Salain said.
They don’t know the consequences at limits (This is stereotyping. I am not a Muslim but have some respect to our Muslim brothers. Kids these days think that is funny),” Nevrebyl Alegria said.
The Davao City-based content creators known as the “Tukomi brothers” are well-known pranksters who get their content ideas from suggestions of their Facebook and Youtube followers.
Their Youtube channel now has 4.16 million subscribers while they have 4.3 million followers on their Facebook page. (PNA)
“The image of anti-Marcos leader, Ninoy Aquino, has been placed in the 500 peso bill and caused so much divisiveness in the Philippine populace because more than half support the Philippine leader whom Ninoy Aquino fought with politically,” saad ni Cardema sa kanyang resolusyon.
“The BSP recently removed real wartime heroes like General Vicente Lim, Chief Justice Jose Abad Santos, and Girl Scout of the Philippines founder Josefa Llanes Escoda from our 1,000 peso bill even though they fought foreign invaders. They were replaced with a more nationalistic and a powerful image of the Philippine eagle,” ani Cardema.
“What more for a personality like Ninoy Aquino who only fought politically against a fellow Filipino who is also revered by more than half of the Philippine population,” dagdag niya.
Dears,
We are OFW Community in Saudi Arabia, may we asks to your good office if a person will travel in Philippines but did not get QR code, can he able to board the aircraft?
Please enlighten us.
Thanks
OFW SAUDI ARABIA
You are allowed to board the plane as long as you have registered and have an OHP account. The barcode or Qr code is asked upon arrival at the airport. Please tell your airline (or just present this email) that you may board the plane even without the Qr code/barcode. You just need to present your OHP registration.
RNT
President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the recommendation of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to stop e-sabong or online cockfighting operations.
“And the recommendation of [DILG} Secretary [Eduardo] Año is to do away with e-sabong and he cited the validation report coming from all sources,” Duterte said during his prerecorded Talk to the People aired Tuesday.
“So it’s his recommendation and I agree with it and it is good. So e-sabong will end by tonight. Bukas. Lalabas ito bukas,” he added.
Duterte said he is leaving it to Año to order when the operations should be stopped.
“I leave it to Secretary Año kung kailan niya… it might be tomorrow or, at least, tomorrow night or tomorrow afternoon. Kapag na ano na ‘yan, because it is immediate. Immediately,” he said.
E-sabong operations hit the headlines recently following the disappearance dozens of persons involved in the industry. Its continued operations even during the Holy Week was also questioned.
Duterte said the message is “loud and very clear” that e-sabong is “working against our values.”
Ang labas hindi na natutulog yung sabungero, 24 hours”, he said. –KBK, GMA News
